FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Are items from the Frugal Spendaholic authentic?

1,000 times over YES. All items listed for sale have been purchased directly from authorized sellers (Department Stores, Outlet Malls, or Off-price Retailers) and are owned by and the personal property of the Frugal Spendaholic.

Selling and even BUYING fake, knock-off, designer inspired items is illegal and can have very serious implications. Not only is selling and buying counterfeit merchandise illegal but your purchase could be funding terrorism, organized crime rings, facilitating money laundering, and other illicit and dangerous activity. So just don't do it!

How does the Frugal Spendaholic offer authentic designer items at discounted prices?

An often little known fact is many of those highly sought after luxury brand items go on sale throughout the year.

At the Frugal Spendaholic countless hours and many sleepless nights are spent scouring the web searching for sales, clearance, and final sale deals. Other times items are sourced and purchased directly from Outlet Malls, Off-price Retailers (think TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Nordstrom's Rack), or directly from Department Stores through Sales Associates.

Because the Frugal Spendaholic is able to source and purchase items greatly under retail pricing, those savings can be passed to our fellow Frugal Spendaholics.

Does the Frugal Spendaholic work for or have a relationship with the Brands on its website?

The Frugal Spendaholic is not affiliated with any of the Designers or brands listed on the FrugalSpendaholic.com.

Are there any additional fees I should know about?

Not at all. In fact all items on the Frugal Spendaholic ships for free and includes shipping insurance. Wa-hoo!

Why are Returns or Exchanges not accepted?

At the Frugal Spendaholic we want you to carefully and confidentially select and purchase items you absolutely love. However, because of the nature of the items listed (extremely discounted & final sale in store), unless items arrive damaged, are grossly misrepresented, or buyer receives the incorrect item, all sales are final.

If apprehensions still remain about our Final Sale policy, feel free to contact us. The Frugal Spendaholic may be able to provide recommendations to Department Stores or Sales Associates. Although, items will likely be retail full price, it is important that you feel confident and comfortable with your purchases.

We want to see our fellow Frugal Spendaholics happy, even if that means you purchase elsewhere.

I wear a size... will this shoe fit?

Does this shoe fit true to size?

What is my size in this Brand?

Is this shoe comfortable?

These are all valid questions! Unfortunately, the Frugal Spendaholic cannot provide sizing recommendations. There is so much variety amongst us and each person's foot is just as different. Size, fit, and comfortability can vary even for the same Designer.

When you begin to think about what is considered comfortable and the subjectiveness of the response provided, all of those variables can create confusion and inconsistency!

The best piece of advice we can offer is to visit a Department store before purchasing. Try on the shoes you are considering, walk around to determine how they fit, and if they are true to size.

If visiting a store is not an option, read as many reviews online as you possibly can. Review that particular brand's shoe size guide. Join a Facebook group specifically for the brand of shoes you are shopping. Believe it or not there are scores of like-minded shoe fanatics willing to discuss sizing. YouTube can also be a great source of information as well.
